Objectives

  1. The Foundation will promote Hindi language especially literature produced in the language

    – It will give intellectual support to the emerging writers

    – Will help them financially to research and produce monographs, books and articles

    – Will coordinate will publishers to publish the works of young writers

    – Bring out a quarterly journal on latest trends in Hindi writing

    – Support a website and other applications for international audience

    – Will coordinate with TV channels to produce programmes on trends in Hindi literature

    2. The Foundation will encourage translation of literature from other languages in Hindi,

    especially Indian languages like Urdu and others

    3. The Foundation will also encourage and support other languages that are under stress and

    endangered like Kashmiri, Dogri, Gondvi and other tribal and local dialects like Dingal,

    4. The Foundation will organise a yearly award function for the best efforts in all the above

    areas in Delhi or in any state capital

    5. The Foundation will also initiate a scholarship for young writers

    6. The foundation will run writing courses for emerging writers

    7. The organisation will conduct symposiums, seminar and exhibitions to promote Hindi

    8. The Foundation will also help in creating a cadre of translators that will attempt translation

    of foreign literature – especially Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Persian, Arabic and Spanish

    9.  The Foundation will also re-translate many foreign work of literature already translated in

    Hindi keeping in view the growing understanding that they were not up to the mark

    10. The Foundation will also at a later date felicitate foreign born Indians as well as foreign

    nationals who have worked in the field of Hindi language and literate
